Privacy Policy

To protect the privacy of our users we have defined and follow the guidelines below. The guidelines maybe modified or updated at any time without notice. Each file uploaded receives a unique randomly generated address. Only the user and whomever that user shares their unique address with will have access to the file that they upload.

We do no active monitoring of file content, nor do we use any analysis software to inspect files in any way shape or form. File content can only be disclosed to us if someone submits a suspicious, illegal or malicious file link for us to review by forwarding us the link to the contact information on our ‘Contact Us’ page.

Expiration of Data

Data uploaded will be stored for 15 days (360 hours, 0 minutes), at the conclusion of 15 days the file will be permanently deleted from the servers and the link will no longer be active.

Conditions of Use

Users of this service to not engage in the following practices:

Make any attempt or take any action to enter any part of the share1t.com system other than those that are public or issued to you to manage your files.

Engage in activities aimed at testing, penetrating, surfing, or exploiting the vulnerability of the share1t.com infrastructure or systems. This includes but would not be limited to actions that might be defined as hacking or accessing private areas of our systems.

To falsify personal information, misrepresent yourself or impersonate someone else while using the share1t.com system or in attempt to defraud share1t.com or others in our name.

To use our service for the purpose of transmitting information that would be considered any of the following:

Breach of privacy

Spamming or any commercial or malicious interest that involves a mass distribution of data that is unsolicited or ill natured

If a violation, actual or perceived, of any of Privacy Policies or Terms of service should come to our attention share1t.com reserves the right to terminate services to any one or group through IP restrictions and bans. If the violation constitutes an infringement of rights owned by someone other than the party using the data share1t.com reserves the right to prosecute or aid in the prosecution of persons responsible for said violation. Furthermore, any violation that constitutes a violation of local, state, or federal law, share1t.com reserves the rights to aid or lead law enforcement in the prosecution of those involved in said crimes.

Though share1t.com has the rights to monitor, report, and take legal actions against those whom violate these policies, we do not acknowledge any responsibility to do as such, nor do we take or imply that we take any responsibility for the actions of those who violate these terms. Nor do we make any assurances or claim to the policing or evaluation of data that is uploaded to our systems. The individual user takes full responsibility for the content that they upload to our systems. Share1t.com reserves the right to do whatever is reasonable and prudent for the preservation of our service and company.

Warranties

NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED OF SERVICES PROVIDED, SERVICES PROVIDED ARE ‘AS IS’. SHARE1T.COM FURISHES NO ASSURANCE THAT SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE WITHOUT FAULT, THAT FILES WILL BE SECURE, THAT THERE WILL BE NO ERRORS IN ANY PART OF THE SERVICE PROVIDED, SERVICES WILL PERFORM AS ADVERTISED OR PROMOTED, THAT SERVICES OR FILES PASSED THROUGH SERVICE WILL NOT HARM YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR THE SYSTEM OF OTHERS.

Hold Harmless

THE USER ACCEPTS AND AGREES TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS AND WILL HOLD SHARE1T.COM HARMLESS FOR ANY DAMAGE ACTUAL OR PERCIEVIED AS A RESULT OF USING THIS SERVICE EITHER AS THE UPLOADER OR AS A THIRD PARTY DOWNLOADER. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ALWAYS USE PRECAUTION WHEN DOWNLOADING FILES AND ONLY ACCEPTS FILES FROM TRUSTED KNOWN SENDERS; IT IS ALSO YOUR RESPONIBILITY TO TAKE APPROPRIATE PRECAUTIONS IN CHECKING FILES DOWNLOADED FOR FAULTS, CORRUPTION, VIRUSES, OR ANY OTHER FORM OF MALWARE. USERS OF THIS SERVICE DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK.

As the user, you agree to make no effort or claim against share1t.com at any time for any reason. Furthermore you will hold harmless or defend share1t.com, its owners, share holders, employees, and or affiliates, from any form of expense, claim, liability, damage, or loss, no matter the reason or action with regards to our services.

Limitation of Liability

Share1t.com assumes no responsibility for the files of its users. At no time for any reason in any way will share1t.com accept the liability from you or a third party for the content of your files for any reason, including but not limited to damages perceived or real with regards to anything covered in our terms of service or from damage incurred during upload, transmission, download, storage or any other way, perceived or real to your data from use of any portion of our service. Regardless of any contractual agreement, warranty expressed or implied or other means of guarantee, this notice of limitations on liabilities supersedes all other agreements that any person, agent or representative of our company may draw with any person at any time regardless of assurance to problems being resolved or repaired there is no guarantee being made or offered that our services will be rendered without fault or flaw one hundred percent of the time. This document is to serve as your notice and your use of our service is your acknowledgement and agreement to these terms.

If you live in a jurisdiction that does not allow or acknowledge exclusions covered by limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages you agree by default to arbitrate any damages in lieu of litigation.

Severability

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these Terms of Service will remain in full force and affect.

Controlling Law and Jurisdiction

Any action sought in relation to these terms of service will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue of any action with respect to the subject matter of these Terms of Service will be the state and federal courts or with arbitrator(s) located in or near Centralia, Washington. You waive any objection to jurisdiction and venue.

Entire Agreement

This agreement will be acknowledged and honored in its entirety to cover share1t.com and any use of share1t.com’s services, the terms of this agreement supersedes any other past agreement.

You may be subject to additional terms of service, conditions, privacy policies or other user agreements aside from those of share1t.com, from such sources as your ISP, other software you use, other share1t.com services, software or hardware of a third party.

Logging Information

Our systems log e-mail addresses, IP addresses, time stamps, size, format, and other data about your visit for the purposes of better serving our users. We do not at any time release that information in any way to anyone for the purpose with the exception of the Disclosure Exception below.

Disclosure Exception

Your information may be disclosed to law enforcement personal along with any logged information regarding your ISP, time stamps, date, data, e-mail address, or any other information gathered of you while you’re on our site.

File Transfer Security

Share1t.com takes every reasonable measure to ensure that our facilities, servers, and infrastructure are secure; however, security is never guaranteed or absolute. Therefore we recommend that you do not upload any data that may be sensitive or confidential. The link to your data that is randomly generated is only furnished to you, the party whom uploaded the file and whomever you share it with. After 15 days files are deleted completely from our systems.
